In the early 3050's, strange invaders from beyond known space arrived in the Inner Sphere, conquering world after world in a seemingly unstoppable advance. One such world was Somerset, home planet of Adam Steiner, cousin to the ruling family and officer in the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns. Somerset was conquered by Clan Jade Falcon, and much of the population was enslaved. Adam, offworld at the time, could only watch helplessly as his friends and family fell victim to the Clan juggernaut.
But Adam is not one to take things lying down. Assembling his own strike force, he begins to harrass the Jade Falcons and look for a way to free his homeworld.
The 1st Somerset Strikers sourcebook covers the events and personalities of the BattleTech cartoon, much of which has now been accepted into the game universe itself. This book contains profiles of the prominent characters from the cartoon, detailed episode synopses, and a brief guide to the BattleTech universe.
