In January 3052, Clans Smoke Jaguar and Nova Cat assaulted Luthien, the capital of the star-spanning Draconis Combine. Beleaguered on many fronts, the Combine had few troops to spare for Luthien's defense. Last minute help arrives in the form of two mercenary units with a long history of hatred towards the Combine.
