Way of the Clans
General Aleksandr Kerensky left the Inner Sphere at the head of a vast Exodus. Nicholas Kerensky rescued his father's followers from a vicious civil war, in the process creating the Clans.
Aidan is a cadet in Clan Jade Falcon, training for the day when he will become a warrior. As one of the genetically-engineered elite of his society, Aidan is supremely confident, sure that he will one day be a warrior.
But when his dreams are shattered and he is cast out of the warrior ranks, Aidan must survive in a world he's never known. And someone else has plans for him...
Bloodname
He failed his first Trial of Position. Only by masquerading as a freeborn warrior was Jade Falcon cadet Aidan able to get a shot at a second Trial. But still his ambition was not satisfied.
Now Aidan has set his sights on the ultimate goal for a Clan warrior: a Bloodname. But first he must convince the assembled warriors of his Clan that he deserves a chance to compete in the House Pryde Bloodname Trials. And even if he manages to convince them, he'll still have to face all of the other warriors competing for the same Bloodname.
Falcon Guard
Aidan Pryde has accomplished much in his life. After failing his Trial of Position as a cadet, he gained a chance at a second Trial through subterfuge and lies. Despite the opposition of powerful members of his Clan's warrior caste, he succeeded in winning a Bloodname, the highest honor a warrior can achieve. Over the years he has paid a high price for his past.
Aidan has been given command of the Falcon Guards, once one of the premier units of Clan Jade Falcon's military but now a disgraced reminder of past failures. But now the Clans have agreed to one cataclysmic battle to decide the fate of their invasion and Aidan sees a chance to redeem himself. Will he succeed despite the odds against him or will he justify the disdain his peers feel for him?
