Formed in the early years of the 31st century, the Kell Hounds quickly gained a reputation as a premier mercenary unit. Led by the brothers Morgan and Patrick Kell, their future looked bright indeed.
Then came the fateful showdown on Mallory's World.
Facing off against Yorinaga Kurita in single combat, something happened to change Morgan Kell. In the aftermath of the aborted duel, Morgan disbanded most of the unit he had carefully nurtured with his brother and then retired to a monastery on a faraway world. Patrick Kell was left with a unit that was a shell of its former glory and his self-confidence shaken almost beyond repair. With the help of a few close friends and fellow officers, he managed to keep the Kell Hounds going.
Then came the Fourth Succession War.
The Kell Hounds scenario pack/sourcebook details the early years of the legendary mercenary unit, from their initial formation on Galatea in 3010, to the dark days of the Defection and through their triumphant rebirth. Unit rosters for each of the three periods of their history and profiles of the major figures in the unit provide a complete look at this important mercenary group.
