Fun New Feature
So I'm on my lunch break and browsing Wikipedia when I decide to appropriate one of their features for this site. So a quick few minutes of coding and voilà! Easy as pie! Mmmm... pie. No pie with my lunch but I do have a nice brownie.
So, scroll down to the Extras box in the left navigation column and click on the Random Entry link (or you could always click here for now). Through the magical power of SQL and PHP, you will be whisked away to a randomly-selected entry from the database. Will you get something like Defiance, which I just posted last night? Or will you end up with a placeholder entry like, say, the EXT-4D Exterminator? Only fate will tell.
You might notice that the lion's share of random entries are drawn from the Technology and Worlds categories. Unfortunately, that's a result of there being so many entries from those categories in the database. I might decide later to try and weight the results to take this into account... but then I guess it wouldn't be random any more, would it?
